“How can I explain the process??? I wanted to capture the moment before the sun breaks the horizon. I painted the entire background, wet on wet. Then, working quickly and steadily using several tools, I spent hours removing the paint where the trees were going before the paint dried. Then I could leisurely go back in and complete the painting of the trees themselves”
